homerj109 As for the fighting -even though your not on the field, you can still learn by watching. I probably learn more from watching how the others fight, then I do by actually fighting. Watch how they move, how they throw a blow, how they block, etc. This can really help you later in life by all...

Throughout the years, I've seen an odd mix of armor at the 30, from plastic gauntlets to plate and chain. Is plastic forbidden at the CoT, or just discouraged? Is the line drawn on appearance or the actual materials used to make one's armor? Maille and plate would be appropriate as this was part of...

Kettle helm would be quite period for this event. As has been noted in other threads. The kettle went from 13th century right up til the 15th. SO yeah a kettle would be appropriate. The one thing to remember about a kettle helm. In the 30, a face thrust or strike across the bargrill is fatal to you....

Wait wait wait.. Ok I will admit Im a heavy weapons brute.. and sorta new to the society (hitting a year soon). But you mean to tell me they have rubber band guns for light weapons?! Thats both insane but yet... kinda cool.. If only we could modify those to shoot bolts or something for heavy.. Hmm ...

Alright, so now that 2 of the Anguses (Angi?) have weighed in on a more 1351-ish kit somebody steer me right.
