How much do you want to spend? This is kinda important a question cause some can be had for $150 or so and then you have the other end of the spectrum which is the better part of a grand.

The two sticker should take his disarmed hand and immediately put it behind his back taking a firm grip on his belt (if he has one) to try and minimalize the danger to his hand.

I remember a thread by Knitebee where he made finger gaunts with the plates inside the leather giving them a glove appearance then splinted the cuff. it was very very recent and there were some great "How I did it" photos as well.

I got to met Torvaldr at midnight madness just as he was closing. I am still very interested in a set of Bauzies for my lady and wanted to get measurements etc while we were both at the same place. Duties in camp though kept me tied up and unable to get back..

I tend not to worry about shiny on the helm so much as preventing rust. So I go with an old tried and true method of further rust prevention. I brown my helms. Let helm sit out overnight and get a fine patina of rusting. brush this off and apply wd40 or some other oil and let it soak into the helm. ...
