You may have to drill a couple holes in the helm top. Insert the plume bend it back and then tie it to the inside of the helm. This wouldn't interfere with the padding and by replacing it is a matter of removing the padding and cutting the binding.

I know it can be done but would it be correct?

Okay, I have an onion top bascinet with a houndskull and a bargrill. I'm thinking of having a globose faceplate made as well for this. The question though is will it actually be correct? I always liked the looks of the globose and I have the helm already, but I don't wanna commission this and have i...

That's why I have a rampant hedgehog for my device. That and it was a joke about my first set of scale armor that got taken wayyyy too far.

The teeth tend to become kinda brittle once they leave the body. drilling them could be a problem unless ya get a good high speed drill and make sure your bits are sharp.

I have a coat of plates in my camp that if Frieman did not get it for his buddy will be there. It will fit someone about 6' and 180-200 poundish.
Plus I can bring my spare mitten gaunts as well.

Yeah, I was gonna say if you want to be an Irishman in 1290, Look at the english about 1240 and you're pretty much gonna be on par for what you want. Ireland tended to be behind the times as it were.
Then again this is a very simplistic answer, however close to truth it may be.

From the reviews I've seen on the archive Von Sussen is so-so. Communication not the greatest. Stuff gets to you over variable amounts of time. Etc.
Granted this is archive hearsay I've had no personal dealings with them but as a group, the archive gives mixed reviews on him.

Pennsic has its' own rules of the list. So I don't know. Aethelmarc hasn't a experimental program yet. It may be presented to Him at Pennsic. It would be premature to speculate how his Majesty will view them. Every Kingdom has its own standards for this experiment. So, who knows.... Actually I emai...

Bit of advice on the camelback though. Don't fill it all the way. 2/3 is usually a good amount for a battle and any wrap shot won't burst the bladder. The water needs room to displace itself from the force.
