Vitus was making some seriously cool Poleaxes as well. Not sure if he's doing any more but tossing him a line wouldn't hurt

There's a guy from up Endless Hills ways that fights great sword with a big ole shield on his left arm. the shield moves with his every swing as the shield is strapped to his left hand as well. This in effect makes it a working shield..

Having a knight of the Middle proclaim loudly proclaim twice that I and the group of men that I was fighting with had no honor. He had charged alone into a group of fighters I was commanding, raining shots as we did likewise. He fell to the ground and my group continued on. I turned to help him up ...

We have a bunch small racetracks round here. So the guys are always bringing in their outlaw sprints or their drag cars in for powder coating to the guy I use. I have an aluminium haubergeon. As a primary defense, not good. As a means to create the proper layering under your harness, it works fine. I would however recommend you powder coat it. What kind of outlay are you looking at? Hjalmr makes a nice kettle hat on the munitions end of things and you can go right on up in pricing. Having an idea of how much you're looking to put into a helm gives us an idea of where to direct ya.

And I'm assuming these are paying SCA members so now lets throw all the folks with non-memberships into the mix. That would be a substantial numbers difference I'm thinking. Not as big as you may suspect. Here in Aethelmearc, your authorization is on record and is counted regardless of membership s...

Pennsic is over again. So in your estimation, what units did you feel did well, did poorly etc. ??? Aethelmearc to my eye had their game on this year. Good folks in the command structure and the ability to adjust to what was unfolding enabled them to keep the momentum.
