Sean,
You should have ton of Amish Tack/Harness shops down that way. Do what I do go in and get a strap cut to what you need. Cheap easy and you can inspect the leather before they cut it.

Sir Tristen has the right of it I believe. With the exception of Emergency aid any medical treatment has to be by consent of the parent/guardian. If I'm not mistaken there is a small grey area in there though. I believe if there is no parent or legal guardian present at the moment of injury EMS can...

You don't know Ivan then obviously. I don't know what the other masters do or don't do and I don't really care. There are so few of them anyway I'm not terribly concerned about the brush I use to paint them. Start a different thread if you want to argue about the worth of masters. I know the one we...

It *really* increases your range. If you are adept at twisting and bending and leaning way back to duck out of the way, the defense is not that difficult. -Graedwyn May have to give this a try tomorrow at Southern Region War Camp.. Being a short lil bastage that I am, this might be something worth ...

So what's the problem with reducing the risk and still allowing CA to be in play? What's the big problem wih that? I don't understand it. To be honest, I have seen an incredible amount of Anti CA coming from yourself and Balin that colors my view. Perhaps I've become jaded and expect the natural pr...

Edit to add what I was responding to I don't care that the number is small. What I care about is that it will only take one to end a persons life and that can easily be avoided while still allowing CA to be in play. Somebody wins the Lottery even though the chances are slim to none. Someday someone...

How is it not a design flaw that you can squish an anti penetration device (not a semi penetration device) by hand and force it through a grill? As you said, it had to be squished (physically compressed enough to get it out). It could not be removed simply by trying to force it out on it's own and ...

Riese, The only bargrill penetration I ever encountered did not include an injury. It occurred at the Final Kingdom Crusades. Upon investigation by Master Padraig and a few others (including the guy with the crossbow bolt hanging in his bargrill) we concluded the following The APD had been stepped ...

Out of curiosity, when was the last injury from an arrow bouncing sideways into the eye slots? And would it not be safer to require meshing inside of helms? That way the eyes are safe from splinters coming off a failing sword as well...I mean if safety is truelly the issue it only makes sense to go...

You're Young...You heal quicker than I do by a longshot.. Practice is the only way to prevent bruising (and perhaps some quick mods to your armour) but the bottom line is..Did you enjoy the actual combat enough to WANT to do it again?? If so then do not give up, rather pace yourself and do it right...
