Hmmmmm, so he's a merc, not a kingdom guy, but he decided to act like a big tough guy anyway? That makes no sense to me. Actually Animal Havoc is both.. While my brother in arms within Confed, he is also squired to an Aethelmearc Knight which makes for some interesting times when the household is o...

I agree with Wade. The side rivets SHOULD be dummies to fill the construction holes with the strap rivets hidden under the next lame farther out... but I don't see how these straps attach to the main plates... My best guesses are a mistaken victorian reproduction or the straps only go to the lowerm...

Anybody know if this stuff actually shipped before Murdock did? I got a message from Murdock last Monday saying my breastplate was done and going out... I'm gonna assume he used USPS parcel post which means up to nine days after mailing for delivery... I'll start looking about Thursday for it get h...

Seved, Look up Bashford Dean. I think I know which photo your talking about and the one posted on the link above jogged my memory. This was a year or better ago was it not? Voice in my head says it was one of Dean's that was being discussed. The general consensus was several of his pieces were incor...

Thanks guys! I'm glad the aventail and elbows are what you were looking for Angus; you were a pleaure to deal with as well. Ivan I hope the knees do the job for you. Let me know if they don't Thanks both from myself and the young lady who will be wearing the elbows. She's a niece of sorts and hopin...

Rough from the Hammer a pleased review..
Couple weeks ago, Cet was having his "garage sale" on some stock that was lying around. I jumped on a blackened Flat Riveted aventail for $75 and had some questions regarding the elbows he had lying about. Turns out the elbows were too big for my intended victim. Not to be daunted Cet let ...

Eammon, Next time you get into this neck of the Woods. I have patterns you can copy and take home with you. Gunther and PB know their stuff for lines etc. Once you've started working on several of these, you will be able to interpret the lines and shape of what should be..Yer an artist (musician) an...

Hmmm my curiosity is now piqued. I've been fighting in a barbute for a little over a year now. I've been wearing midden armor under a voluminous linen tunic. The only thing really exposed are my gamboised cuisses with soupcan knees. Is this totally wrong? I've never really had any comments other th...
