I'm having no luck finding it, but if you can find the web site for Redwolf...I picked up some Irish pieces from him at Estrella last year (but lost his card, alas), and I know he had various Viking pieces of different styles.

Good prices, great guy to do business with.

Hell, I'd be worried about you being undersized for them.

For Sale: Global Effects Plastic Corrazina [SALE PENDING]

One large Global Effects plastic corrazina for sale. Taking up space in the storage unit. I can take a picture of it, but it's just a pile of black abs pre-shaped plates. Size large, since my chest measurement at the time was about 48". Paid $125 + S&H, but I no longer have the paper patter...

14th C. mild steel arms & legs for sale [PICS]

I have one pair each of 14th century arms & legs for sale. Made by James River Armoury, pre-strapped, but with no holes punched or straps cut. I bought them a while back when he was having a sale, but had been doing some thinking about things while I re-assembled other parts of my kit. So, they'...

Re: Two Revival Clothing 14th Century Linen Gambesons--New

I think that's a marvelous suggestion except for the fact that I'm currently on a crusade to get enough unused stuff out of the garage to be able to squeeze my Mini Cooper in there. Well, when it comes time to throw out that burgonet and peascod just hanging there doing nothing, you let me know.

I can't get it to resolve via DNS unless I use the Wolfstar.CA DNS servers (where alchemyarmory.com is hosted).

I tried making a static host to get there, but it didn't work for me on Time Warner's network.

Uhm. Short form: There appears something wrong at the hosting company level. :)

Outlands has had spear, 2 sword, sword and madu...the last two several times. That's what I can think of off the top of my head...there's probably more.

For a while, years ago, there was a streak of Crown Tournaments here where the final four were pretty much guaranteed to be sword and madu guys.

Y'know, I wonder why it did take so long. You would think that baskets would have developed earlier, especially as elaborate as armor became. Integral hand protection on the sword seems to be a no-brainer. You start to see the early versions of hand protection on swords, rather than baskets like we...

Sticking your unarmored hand in a full basket and the rules saying it can't be hit is just as lame as putting a smurf hat on an unarmored head and the rules saying it can't be hit. This is why I'm happy with later period. "My hand's in a basket hilt? Of course it is. We've had these for nearly...

You don't really, for whatever reason, have "Irish weapons" that are anything other than a "look" thing. (Ring-hilted longsword, for example, with the tip a little more square.) A lot of armour by that point was scavenged from either family stores (so, out of date armour, even ba...
