That's disapointing. Those prices are.....well....bad bad bad.

I'd prefer un-punched raw plate that are cut to shape, tho.

That'd rule.

Wish you was close enough for me to help.

Man, I wanna look as good as you when I grow up.

I think I may go with construction when I trim down a bit. I think asthetically it looks better than the Wisby 7 style. I mean, you and Adam are just poster boys for killer looking CoPs.

Here's a couple o'questions: Where should the back of a peascod cuirass terminate? And where should the front at the point terminate? I mean the part aganst your body, not the drop point that sits away from your body. I just can't get it on this one, as on all my pics of them the front is so much lo...

Yeah, I was using that site as my primary visual source.

I don't know if I'll do a flap at the bottom, but the Hoas versions of the 7 and 8 are about what I'm considering. More type than those exact ones.

Earliest Mentions of Arm Defences

Not pictoral evidence, but mentions in rolls, inventories and stuff like that. What is the earliest dates we have for upper and lower arm defences, not just elbows.

St Maurice CoP Construction

What is the consensus? Is it the vertical plates wrapping around, or the more barrel shaped plates?

And how far back do we have documentation for the pair of plates?

For Those of Us With a Gut, Wisby CoP #7 or #8?

For those of us with some paunch, which one works better? I'm trying to keep it from looking wonky since my gut is fair bigger than my chest, but I also don't want it to bind odd due to my girth. I'm leaning towards the #7 right now, but am not dedicated to it if the other style would work better. T...

Ok, I have this here very simple gorget from the magnificent Mad Matt. m It's his most basic model. I want to do some spiffication in leather to it. I'm going to contact cement the leather on, probably in blue. I haven't decided if I'll sell it or keep it. It may very well end up as a fencing gorget...

Maybe someone should interview you to write a rebuttal article in a magazine.

Just like someone should finally put riveted maille on tv for one of the vaunted "live weapon tests".

Well, I might be interested if you were to do a less rough one. Dependant on a slew of things, obviously, but still. I'd like to see what a more refined version would look like and what it would cost. Also interested in finding out about more refined versions of bascinets and kettles. Christopher
