So rarely do I see Carolingian. I remember a thread about underredpresented personnas. That would be one.
And that kit is a great one to show guys who want to put one together. Well done.

That woulda been cool, WT. Assesment is unlikely. Still holding out hope, but very unlikely. We have near zero ability to camp (medical stuff), so untill I can build my climate controlled Mobile Cottage of Luxury (tm), camping is pretty nonexistient for us. I'm not even sure we can afford it. But we...

Was a fun event. I learned a lot. Chest still hurts from a thrust in a rapier training pickup...lol Thanks, James for the class, and putting up with being inconvenienced by me so much. Hopefully soon I'll start bearing fruit from the instruction. Was cool meeting Dan, even if it was brief and in pas...

That's fine. Sleevelss is what I was thinking anyway. I'll be on the lookout. I sould be easy to spot. Probably the only big Elizbethan privateer-ish looking guy there. Ignore the big huge brimmed hat and bandanna. Only wear it cause it's my sunshade, and the bandanna keeps the wool from itchin me. ...

Vitale, that is the bees' knees, man. I mean, that is 31 flavors of awesome. Anyone know if that'd be legal in Atlantia, or in any of the big wars? I like the spiney one too. But would it hit hard enough to register with all the spines? Since it's rubber, I'd think it would slow the moment of impact...

I've been keeping up with that part, Angus. It was Sir Konrad's statement that confused me. Made it sound like the BoD had some agenda to get someone else onto the throne. Thats what I was asking about. So, the problem was caused by a postal error? That was the delay? I know about why they took long...

I'm curious, Adam....how do people think you're a newbie? Most newbies I've ever seen, and this was years ago whn I flirted but never did anything with getting into the SCA, wore a tunic, black jeans (if you were lucky) and regular street shoes. I'd think someone who looked like an effigy would be t...

But let us remember, it is a fictional world in a fantasy novel. The armour looks great, and functional. It looks very functional. And since it's all a work of fiction, isn't that what's most important? Weta Tenzan has one model of their plastic maille which is zinc plated. They claim it even sounds...
