Looks pretty good. The black bits, did you stamp those down, or is it just the black bringing the down a bit?

How did you manage that color tho? I'm still stuck with solids.

Wow, I think Alejandro's train wreck was right. That guy may have one day grown into a high class armourer. Now, he'll probably never come back, never seek to learn anything further about historical armour, and that is one less to add to the craft who may have blossomed. I gotta agree with I Stewart...

Isn't this style generally (rightly or wrongly) called Italo-Norman or Sicilio-Norman? Phrygian top? Looks like it points forward.

Not saying if it's the right or wrong terms, just seems like that's usually the ones most applied.

well, I figured since you were talking about not having done a butted seam, it would use a butt stitch.

Or maybe my but just felt stitched...i dunno...

I missed these shoes before. G;ad to see em this time.

Ooh, I like that sugarloaf. Maybe shoulda went that route...lol

The klappface looks good too. I can't comment on whether it should be more bulbouas or anything tho. But it appeals to my sense of asthetics, anyway.

That econo turned out great. Looking forward to playing with that.

What exactly is worng with the shield? Since I have no idea what constitutes a proper figure 8 shield construction. The guy in the lino-kit, I don't think was being presented as Homeric. Not bad for a couple of evenings work, Egfroth, not bad at all.

Butt stitching? Wow, butstitching would be the last thing I'd complain about not doing on them. But I don't quite posess your skill with a needle.

Good job.
