There's "mouse pad" padding on all fingers and thumbs. I took a direct hit with a steel sword at practice tonight and called good hit and had no damage to my thumb or the glove. cheers

I can't remember exact dates[gettin' old SUCKS you'll see] I got my shipment from Westland surprisingly quickly even with the ashcloud happening. Once they shipped it it was pretty fast. just my 1.8 cents
