get a ball bearing the size of your rivet head
get a piece of "drill rod" or any higher carbon steel rod
heat the end of the rod to cherry
put the bearing on a hard surface
line up the rod center over the bearing and hit the rod with a hammer
=homemade rivet "set"

I added the cross and brass rivets...just because

I made these a while ago. I'm trying to move stock for a new tig welder/plasma cutter combo [ it's uber cool] These are mild steel with mostly 16GA. Will fit a med/large hand. A good quality deer skin glove sewn in with stitching all the way up the fingers and blue foam under the carpel plate. $475 ...
