I did pick ups at BAM last week in Ansteorra and had 2 fighters there using it. I honestly didn't notice a difference being hit by it.

I have started discussion on it in Gleann Abhann and might see if we can do some experiments.

THE MONKEY MUST COME OUT Go Blackoak!!!! That's the plan! Time to see if all this cardio is going to pay off. I ran out of gas in the semi's last Fall Crown, and have adjusted accordingly. My hauberk is 15 pounds and I have been doing my boot camp classes with a 25 pound weight vest the last 3 week...

I have loved medieval stuff since I was a kid and I fell in love with the SCA when I found it. I grew up with a lot of repressed anger and SCA fighting gave me an outlet for that that sports and martial arts never did. I used to average 2-3 SCA fighter practices a week and 2-3 martial arts practices...
