Your Majesty Ansteorra, please know that my posing in the pictures was meant in jest and to amp up the momentum for Bordermarch. It was not meant to be disrespectful to an entire Kingdom, and I humbly apologize to those that have taken offense. I will happily speak to your Queen and whomever else th...

The basket was made by Sir Bryan McBrand of Darkheart Armory. He actually has a new style that is not welded bars, but plasma cut metal that is then dished. They are pretty sweet.

I think the brass plating would be cool. Your scabbard looks sweet B! I looked for the pointier cap, but I couldn't find them. Thanks for giving me the idea to work with. :D

And Your Grace, I avoid posting nudies, don't want my kids finding me on the internet.

Adding to an idea.

I want to say it was James B. but I can't find the post where he used a fence post cap to make a chape for a rattan sword scabbard. Like so: http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/monkeybite/100_4452.jpg So I took another pipe cape, and with a cut-off wheel on my dremel I cut the top dome off and u...

First you really need to decide if you want to fight with a basket or quillions. What type of guantlets do you have or do you have any? While quillions & fingered guantlets are sweet it is more expensive to start out with them. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/monkeybite/100_1294-1.jpg I ...

I saw this thread and got me a pair of the shorts. While they take the sting out some I also like the compression factor that they throw in. I use a handle like William, but I made the leather cover a little smaller on my shield. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/monkeybite/100_3059.jpg I basically take a piece of leather shaped like a D (flat of the D facing the shield edge) and fold it over the handle. Lucas, right now Dan is having personal issues and has not been filling his orders. He posted here recently saying something to that effect.

You may want to wait until he is filling orders before ordering anything.

Hjalmr, I got this helm from Waldryk. It was a painful 2 year process though. Known World Treasures was managing for him, but I heard that he is not currently taking orders again for personal issues. You can see a better side profile of the helm in this pic. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/m...

Thanks Vig. I don't think the mail under the nasal stresses it much at all. Especially if you don't let people smack you in the nose a lot. :D

Adam, I put the leather there to try and simulate the leather lining of a ventail. Plus it hided the attachment point of the aventail to the bar.

Rowen, when you are putting on your aventail, cover up all the bars, like this: http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/monkeybite/100_4058.jpg You can see through the mail, so your view of your opponent is barely diminished. And it does not hinder breathing either. I personally think it is a better...

Medicaid pays (or reimburses) a hospital right at 24k for a kidney. The OPO (procurement agency) "sells" them to the hospitals based on what Medicaid pays.

Try having it dry cleaned maybe. Between the chemicals & the steam it should help some.
