Your Majesty Ansteorra, please know that my posing in the pictures was meant in jest and to amp up the momentum for Bordermarch. It was not meant to be disrespectful to an entire Kingdom, and I humbly apologize to those that have taken offense. I will happily speak to your Queen and whomever else th...

Adding to an idea.
I want to say it was James B. but I can't find the post where he used a fence post cap to make a chape for a rattan sword scabbard. Like so: http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/monkeybite/100_4452.jpg So I took another pipe cape, and with a cut-off wheel on my dremel I cut the top dome off and u...

I saw this thread and got me a pair of the shorts. While they take the sting out some I also like the compression factor that they throw in. I had a long drawn out fight with Sir Uther and when he finally hit me we were going pretty hard. All I had on was my mail and the pads under my linen braise a...

I use a handle like William, but I made the leather cover a little smaller on my shield. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/monkeybite/100_3059.jpg I basically take a piece of leather shaped like a D (flat of the D facing the shield edge) and fold it over the handle. I make a smaller leather D ...

Hjalmr, I got this helm from Waldryk. It was a painful 2 year process though. Known World Treasures was managing for him, but I heard that he is not currently taking orders again for personal issues. You can see a better side profile of the helm in this pic. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/m...

Years ago at a Diamond Wars I fought in a bear pit with over 40 people in it. I ended up beating Earl Sir Camric in the finals to win it. It was one of the first times that I just zoned out and fought and fought. Camric helped train me to fight, so beating one of your mentors is always a good feelin...

Rowen, when you are putting on your aventail, cover up all the bars, like this: http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/monkeybite/100_4058.jpg You can see through the mail, so your view of your opponent is barely diminished. And it does not hinder breathing either. I personally think it is a better...

Is there anyone here that lives in his area that knows him? Are they ok? Generally a baby does not keep you tied up 24/7, I know I have 2. I ordered something in July and have not heard anything either. I trust Dan's reputation but it only takes a minute to send an email out giving people a heads up...

Mine are just like the pic you posted. Aluminum hinges on each side. I put some closed cell foam in the knee cop over the front of the knee. Some thinner (mouse pad) stuff under where the hinges are. The neoprene under the leather is all I have for the rest. Just the brace really. When I ordered my ...

Ok, here is a pic of the set I have with a single cop. (springsteel cop from Stonekeep). http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o140/monkeybite/100_4415.jpg All I did was drill 2 holes in the cop and a hole in each of the aluminum splints on the brace. They are held on with parachute cord with washers b...
