did you try looking at some of the LARP polyurethane armor by-the-sword offers? They look like real metal..but arent

well.... as the owener of this lovely helm I have to say.... while it does work amazingly it takes a little more force then "just pull it down and it slips in"

If you just want somethign to wear around the town to look snazzy..then its fine.. If you want more out of your armor...oh say...like being able to use it... Then I wouldnt buy a helmet from Windlass or MRL. Some of thier other stuff is fine...I have a bevor that im using right now that was a windla...

I think that a heirarchy of "I would rather see" should be compiled i.e- I would rather see historical armor on the field than fantastical I would rather see well made fantastical than poorly made historical I would rather see poorly made historical than plastic made to look medieval I would rather ...
