I would try to cast some chinese lion knee's/shoulers/belt to be used with a mountain scale patten suit.

Update... So I took my new armor to the first fighter practice Ive been too in almost a year....and you know what!? Wear gloves..BUT..Dont wear overly bulky or loose gloves, or loose clothing, jewelry ect..

(straight from the mouth of my 8th Grade Shop teacher who has never lost a finger, unlike my highschool one..who never wore gloves...and who's nickname is stumpy!
