Not bad, a bit pricie though... Pricie??? Maybe you looked at the wrong prices as he mades a hand sewn model , a leather shell model, or a machine sewn model with some hand work. The standard machine sewn model is 110 euros (about $140 USD) , made in linen and tailored to your body... this is not o...

Ok...I have to comment on this. From an experienced actor's and director's point of view I would try to steer away from real armor. Also unless you have an experienced stage combat choreographer to come in and teach you some stuff i wouldnt go the SCA combat route for the fighting. REAL comabt does ...

Also Like I said...it all depends on how old these kids are... do you really want to arm them with somethign that will do a heck of a lot of damage?

PVC Maile might be a good idea too....they use that in a lot of movies too. though the cheapest you will find is the sweater. Another thing.. How old are the kids that are doing this? Yet again i say you don't want to weigh down and overheat younger kids. They wont last through the play! I directed ...

Ive done it:) Its a great play. We never had armor though. We just fought in out schoolclothes. Ahh but the movie has made things more flashy now hasnt it? But here is a good question....are you looking to go Narnian Fantasy or Earth historical? Fantasy you can do a heck of a lot more on a tighter b...

What play are you doing? What is your budget? What is your timeframe? I have never made any armor for a play, but I have been involved in the theater world for nearly 20 years, and was an equity actor for a short time before going to school. If it is low budget, and short timeframe, most productions...

How did you all get your signifigant other involved? (SCA?)

Girls you can chime in too, but I am specifically wondering how the guys got thier ladies involved. I have a wonderful girl of nearly 3 years runnign now, and while she en...

I actually have to agree no a lot of points. Injusries happen in SCA stick fighting all the time. Whether they are wearing steel or plastic. Sometimes it is the armors fault, often it is user failure, and even more rare is some hulk hitting so hard that it doesnt matter what you are wearing your gon...

I apologize if I insulted you that was not the intention. I'm merely saying to those who have a problem with obvious plastic on the field that DVA is merely supplying an already existing demand. If my post seemed demeaning to you, again I apologize. no no noo NOOOO! It was a general statement on my...
