Actually.... I just checked out Matuls.pl last night, and he has dropped the prices on pretty much all of his stuff. Som Im going to get something through him. His 15th Century arming doublet looks sooo nice.

How much did the desing of gambesons change from the 14th to 15th century?

Revival is having a sale on thier 14th century Dagged gabeson...

did the design change all that much to the mid 15th cent?

Actually shippint is going to be abotu 35eu.... not too bad though. so Ive decided to go through with it.
Total its going to be about $237 USD I bet..thats a ten EU gap I added to make it an even 200eu.
Ill let you all know when I get it.

He is going to make it with detachable mittens too! :)

I mean no offense whatsoever here, but... I just can't understand why you'd do this. Why would anyone cover up steel plate with tooled leather? Thanks Amhlaidgh! I actually quite like that one...without the gloves. Would you just removes the gloves at the wrists and have it be full length sleeves? I might see if they can't make it with the gloves detachable, that way if I ever go for an earlier portrayal...i.e. crusader... I could just butt...

Hi all..

Im looking at getting a gambeson made, and I was wondering which one would cover the most time frames incase I wanted to wear it under earlier armor.
