I think the minimum requirment for an SCA Helmet is 14g. And having some kind of face coverage. So Yeah I bet it would work.

Might want to consult yoru local Marshal first.

for $150 thats a heck of a deal any which way you look at it!

Hah! That's great!!! I wonder how many folks are running around out there with persona names taken from Disney movies... The noted German troubadour Minnemaus? From the Scottish Highlands, perhaps Sgrúdh mac Duch? Or a lovable Anglo-Saxon named Winí ðe Pú? Ouch OUch OUCH...it BURNS!!!

How did you all Choose your Persona Name?

I was just wondering, how all of you, (all who have a persona) came to the decision that this name this "person" was the right one for you?

Jehan is correct,

While these boots are for a Renn Faire persona, I would still like them to be fairley accurate.

Now a bunch of you have shown me some really nice boots, but they really arent of the same style.

I know this was put through the ringer before... but I have to ask what the general thought might be on these boots... m I have always wanted boots like this.... These i could actually afford. Does anybody know any good sources...or does anybody know any prominent eras in Irish military history. Or early era irish uprisings or rebellions? Or later periods.... late 15th or late 16th century?

Thanks
