Ok so , a little hard to measure just because of the odd shape.
29 inches outer circ around the brow.
19 inches from top of bar grill to back base of skull
Inside front to back 9 1/2 inches
Inside side to side 7 inches.
My head is 23 and a 1/2 around the brow.

he did not ask, I offerred. He is doing me a favor on this helmet, and charged me a very low price since he is not making a visor for it, just the helmet part. I offerred to pay for shipping again and to count what I already paid for shipping as more towards the work on the helmet. I am not going to...

Unfortuneatly Jackie has told numerous people that thier helms were ready to ship. He has told me this 3 times, and I have paid for shipping twice. Some would call me an enabler, some a sucker, I like to think that I am helping support someone who needs a little extra help right now. I will get my h...

Though we are short on time, I am willing to sponsor a "loot" for a brave warrior. Just like I do for the Combat of the Thrity Ransom. If interested, send me a PM, with words to inspire me to choose you as my sponsored champion on the field. If you die, your victor takes it. If you live, you keep it...

It pivots a little but not much, I will get some pictures tonight. I wore uit, and was going to authorize in it, once with about an inch thick padded liner (which I would be willing to throw in to for an extra $25!) I will admit, that it was just thick enough to keep the helmet from moving around. I...

Sir Varus, This is actually somthing I am trying to put togehter to AVOID the "Throw it together and get them on the field." The Dark Victory armor is just that, get them on the field with little effort. I am trying to show that with jus ta little MORE effort you can get on the field, look somewhat ...

Well, the baby sure racks up the bills fast! Apparently when the insurance company tells you that your newborns hospital bills are covered under your wife's plan, what they really mean is they add the baby as a dependant with thier own co-insurance and deducatble. Long story short- We owe $700. So, ...

What it sounds like is that the Society level book was updated, and the Outlands book was not. Perhaps that is why it defaults to Society level? To cover any major changes that overlap?

X-Post- Help finding Newb Kit around $230 Price Point
So I took it on me to try to piece together a reasonably medieval looking newbie kit around the $230 price point.
This is what the Dark Victory full starter package goes for.
Includes:
Gorget
Pauldrons
Arms
Breastplate
Legs.
Any suggestions on this?

If you are going for a spot on CoTT portrayal yes. A lot of the people who take part in the deed fall in a 30 to 40 year span around the time of the Thirty. Here are the results from a search on Manuscript Miniatures using the perameters of 1349-1353 http://manuscriptminiatures.com/search/?year=1349...

I have never found I needed extra padding under my knees.
But I might now that I have a set of legs with a different set up.
I will have to look into an army blanket. How wide do you suggest cutting the strips?

Just so we are not getting the term "Jupon" confused, becasue I know that the term is thrown around a bit to mean a bunch of different garments. What I reffer to as my "jupon" is a short, sleevless, form fitting, some people would call it a heraldic surcoat. It looks approximately like this: http://...

Well, that's not really a comparable parellel. Calling on your example, Romans in 14th century plate, this was for a reason, not an inaccuracy. They drew upon what they were familiar with, and put them in a context that those around them could understand as well. Is it the wrong armor for the time b...
