I always took the Greene effigy to depict a type fitting jupon over the armor, not specifically what I would refer to as "covered armor."

Looking to sponsor rasnom for worthy combatant at BAM CoTT
As I have done for past Combat of the Thirty deeds I would like to sponsor the ransom of a worthy combatant. I have Sponsored two nobles so far. Baron Maximilion von Halstern. all of the above.
I really like Klaus's suggestion. The Wisby is the predomenant form of COP used by SCA fighters, because of ease of construction. I don't blame them for it. However, it would be nice to see some other styles.

Osprey in one of ther books dates it at 1410, Galfrid has it dated as 1410-1414. I have a helmet that fits the look of these miniatures- (red Surcoat) http://armourinart.com/mm/media/cache/original/36-1_gallery.jpg (without the visor) (Purple in the center, if I added a visor) http://armourinart.com...

hmm, So the answer is no. And I am ok with that.
I need to stop looking for the "strange and nont-done" anyway.
There is nothing wrong with doing a basic and generic mid 14th century kit as long as it is done well.

Is there any evidence of this surcoast and ailettes worn with different armor?
I love that look, but am not big on wearing full chain sleeves.
Also what type of helmet would be worn with this? A Great helm?
