Duke Uther,

You sir, should have a unit of Western measurement named after you, just like Viscount Gunther Barensjagger does. :)

Dunno what it would measure but the phrase "yep, that's two and a half Uther's there" has a certain ring yes? :D

But is is still OK to want to take my Sword or Axe to a Cow carcass once, or many times, for fun & sport?

BTW I have also read that test cutting was exercise for testing the blade and not the man, though it does look fun.

For those interested in an update on Crimson's condition, his heart rate has decreased since yesterday (not good) and it seems an infection has begun in his lungs. His daughters are flying in tonight to be with him through the weekend. If you would like to visit him, he is in Sutter Memorial Hospita...

Crimsons the guy who make me think that Rapier wasn't a sissy's game.

He is the guy who does that for a lot of people. In Golden Rivers Provence and throughout the West.

Awesome guy. Great friend.

He is in Sutter Memorial in Sacramento where the doctors have placed him in a drug-induced coma to stabilize him and run tests. Anna Serra is there with him. There is not much...

My primary duty is to keep everyone, on the field and off, safe by inspection and awareness.

Everything else is a far second.

Anyone who has issue with the way I perform my duties is welcome to instruct me. In Person, and at the Tourney or War. Anywhere else is the wrong venue.

@ Logan: Must be a Kingdom thing. Out here in the West 'Option' does not equal 'Responsibility'. We (the Marshals) are the tertiary level of blow judging, coming in after the receiver (first) and the giver (second). ... and we only give our 'Opinion' upon the request of both combatants themselves.
