LF Basket Hilt Suppliers.

A new guy asked me where he could get basket hilts for SCA combat and I was able to remember WindRose Armoury's and no one else.

Can anyone help me out so I can give this guy some variety?

Jarl Rolf of the West likes "HEY! Your Shoe's Are Untied!"

It works more often than you'd think.

That and calling the other guy by name in a friendly way like "Hey Bob!".

Rolf is Evil.

Opinions needed on a leather weight for a bit on my new leg

I'm using a pair of RFTH Al knee cops for a hidden gamboised cuisse leg harness and I wonder what weight of leather some have used to keep the cop from biting into your knee and shin when it gets hit. The curve on them is pretty severe so I know I can't use a layer of 2 oz, but what is recommended? ...

I'm guessing you already know that the annealing process is the opposite for brass, bronze, copper (non-ferrous metals), as it is for steel and iron (ferrous metals)? Heating the bronze, and letting it air cool would have actually hardened the piece further. Heat and quench to anneal non-ferrous me...

One of the things I'm thinking (given the lack of info on the site) is that there are metal plates in it as indicated by the diagram. So... padding, metal, leather or something like that. I'm just wondering how to get the needed overlap on the metal. But, like I said, I liked the general idea but kn...

Does anyone have the patter for, or experience with, the gauntlet pictured at the ASK Vikinge Kamp Gruppe equipment webpage? Looking for something a bit more usable in it's format, also I'm looking for testimonials from folks.

I have some dark roast turkish grind stuff to play with and look forward to the results.

Bought a dishing hammer, arethere other uses for it?

Just got a 2lb Dishing Hammer (with the shallow and deep head) from Clang Armory today. :D

But I have a question: Aside from dishing, peening, paper weighting and hand smacking are there other uses I've not though of?

Has anyone ever thought of using the La Sportiva Mythos lacing and tightening system for use on a personal pair of fighting shoes?
