why does the dam camera focus on the FLOOR! Because your not holding it if its on the floor Murdock! Looking good man! But I claim foul...you have TWO anvils. Technically that means you should be hammering in each hand at the same time! None of this lengthy construction time stuff.

Remember that a circumference can be very misleading though. An perfect circle can have the same circumference as an oval ...and a head can be wider than it is deep. Your safest bet is to get some soft wire and wrap it around your head...not too tight. Make it so it fits over your ears comfortable ...

I picked up a copy from Windrose at the war, and spent the last few days reading it. All in all, well worth it! The text is great, going into a lot of little details, and it has an AMAZING bibliography! The only issue I had with the book is the photoshopping on some of the photos is a bit off, but ...

One thing I meant to say was that a leather belt can work great IF....and only if....you cut it out in a semi-curve....not a flat belt. The semi curve acts exactly like what a tight arming cotte does....its nothing more than a girdle of sorts. I used to use a curved-cut leather belt and it held my l...

I forge things from both outside and inside. Sometimes a leather mallet can be useful in opening them back up when they start to curl over....heat also helps. But to achive a true curved shape to the cuisse, like with greaves, you really have to spend the time working from the inside. Nothing beats ...

Ive used 18 for vambraces and simple ARTICULATED lames. Otherwise use 16..

BUT REMEMBER....after grinding/polishing you lose thickness.

Bear that in mind.

True, but if you're an infantryman, that's a different story. Nah, you just hunch down and compress your body more. ---- But there is some indirect truth there....if we look at the historical record....think about who is wearing a breastplate....and what they were up against. I don't wear cleats. I don't advise the people I train to wear cleats. if you slip in turn shoes and fall down, you hurt your pride. If your cleats grab and you keep going that direction, you twist an ankle or a knee. My orthopedist says don't wear cleats unless you have good insurance. That is why...
