Another suggestion, which Im suprised is so often overlooked are soccer cleats. I use them and they are excellant. They are low profile and fit the food almost exactly like turn shoes, but they are a bit tougher in many cases as well (having a big dude in armour step on your foot hurts). I may build...

Well, if I do they will be spring. I toyed with spring about six or seven years ago, never having a sufficient need at the time. Being a size 15 shoe (which is ironically not that large for a 6' 7 man), the expanse of such small plates would naturally make them weaker....ergo the need for spring now.

Im sorta toying with doing a grand bascinet while Im at it. Never fought in one....mobility is a conern. I move fast for a big man. 8)

I saw a tutorial somewhere that used something commonly available (from the hardware store) that was modified for use as Vervelles. I *think* it was written by Master Cad, but I could be wrong. They are very nice plastic models, and if you put them together correctly, the Japanese made ones you can pose a litle bit, as the limbs are usually articulated to a degree, Really, I didnt know that.
