Also, brigs are usually more taliored while CoPs are more or less tubular. Big misconception about COPs. Certainly by the 1340s, not all coat of plates were unshaped. Here's the pic. People said they needed more of a graduated curve between metacarpal and cuff. This one looks like mine. Now I've got an excuse for being lazy. Indeed I plan on dealing with Sir Andreas for a similar 13th century project.

Perhaps ordering loose rings might be a good idea Sir Andreas....I would indeed like to make the full mittens, attach an integral hood and customize the feet.
