True, true Klaus. I suppose my point was that Matts showing a lot of promise for wanting to achieve a good shape and finish, which I think he should pursue. In my opinion its better to master the shape and finish....and then decide to offer lower gradations, such as cheaper munitions if desired. But...

I am a lifter but Ive also learned to force myself to use my left hand....it is harder and takes concentration but its very useful, especially when you leave your other arm at your friends house overnight. Very inconvenient.

Ah yes Will does fantastic work! He ranks among one of the top 15 most visible armourers in my opinion. And the range of his work is equally impressive. Very friendly and approachable fellow too.

I use a 220volt Sears craftsman Matt. Its been working for over 10 years and the warrenty is wonderful. I can weld battleships.

Matt, why are you fluting 12 guage? Most fluted pieces were much thinner. Use some heat if its that big an issue.

Ugh....why dont you guys just make a simple 'springy' fluting tool...and/or get better with a hammer. I understand the bead roller is a fluting tool in a manner of speaking but it seems like such overkill. I believe, from off the top of my head memory, that that helmet or a similar one is in THE SWISS AT WAR , one of the Osprey titles. Its a great profile image of a klapvisor at the very least.

Edit: I confirmed it. It is the same klappvisor.
