Re: Tortoises

The area that Duchess Rowan is from is historically one of the great places to practice in the kingdom of Ansteorra. Duke Sigmund the Wingfooted has held practice in his back yard in Houston since he was first king at least in 1981. There have been more Knights from that practice ("The Backyard...

Sir Haroun is your best bet. Either that or make it yourself outta plastic. The pattern is supposedly out on the internet. You can upgrade to metal armor as you get more cash and further flush out your rig. Most guys start with a really kick butt helm and go from there.

Yes DA ... he was a young Kid from Ampguard that is transitioning over to SCA Combat. Fights mostly sword and Madu and is REALLY good with that weapon style. He is probably one of the best in Ampguard in the Texas area with that style. He showed up at Steppes Warlord (the biggest tourney in Ansteorr...

The single thing across all fighting styles is footwork or i should say lack of footwork. Being in the right position on the balls of your feet gets you 95% of your kills. If you stand in front of your opponent and dont move, just dodge with your body ... welcome to mediocrity.
