Ewps, you're right. Thanks for the save. I agree. Puppy's all right. I dunno how to spell his wife's name, but she's an angel too. Most kind. it's also due to the time Puppy took with me going over some particulars to Gers that is enabling me to redo mine and make it tons better. I cant say enough g...

Review: NYCMongol Gutul
So I went and fought today and to complete my ensemble I got to try out my new boots. We were indoors and I gotta say these are the most comfy fighting boots I've ever worn. Never a moments trouble, total ankle support, comfy soles, I now know whey they didnt even bother with greaves. I directed a s...

"Animal, Would you wear these if they had a cop attached to cover the back of the elbow? I was thinking of adding a low profile cop that pivoted on rivets mounted on the sides, allowing the arm to bend, and allowing the "band to rotate outward while the cop stayed in place to keep the back of the el...

If you wanna make bazubands that work a little better you're gonna have to dish that elbow a lot deeper. When I make them out of leather I cut a v out and stitch them shut before I dish them in the form. This makes a nice bowl that covers the entire elbow, no 'wings' needed. I'm not putting yours do...

"So now I'm curious: How does one "count" the blow when the Tuchux drops his 'arm and clocks you in the head with his fist...?" Whatever effect the blow has on you is the effect it has on you. Unlike a blow from a 'pretend' weapon, it's a shot just like you woulda got back in the day. So if it doesn...

My 16 foot ger has two sections of khana, or walls, a stack of rafters, a roof ring, and a door frame. The canvas goes in a large tupperwareinside the van while the wood rides on the luggage rack on top. If you have it set up right one person can set up a ger like mine in about 45 minutes to an hour...

Alfred I think it's because you and I view fighting entirely different. If I leg someone and step in with a kick it's not just to kick them. It's to put them off balance and distract their defense so I can kill them. If someone gets inside me I'll punch them. Not just because I can, but to gain room...

In our combat we punch with shields. With the edges and the faces, either way. In fact at one of our events I broke a one inch oak dowel rod I was using as a handle on a center boss round shield by punching Tamock in the face with the boss. He got up laughing, no harm done. We dont count shield punc...
