I got a spear head from By My Hand and i love it! His stuff is the BEST!. I'm about to mount it on the rattan but before I do I thought I'd ask if y'all had a good way to anchor it. I have gorilla glue or strapping tape, but I didnt know the best way. It's the slashing spear, with the lugs. Any help...

"Your assertions don't make it necessarily so, Animal. You're taking peculiar relish in this." Relish? Yah. It's a button of mine I guess. i've never liked peer pressure and I dont mind calling a spade a spade. "You're taking my mocking Promethius on the horsetail (specifically because he was an ass...

A choice of words doesnt say as much as the fact that berating someone for merely having a different set of tastes than you does. Get the point ASSHOLE. Not everyone plays the game the same way you do. OR WANTS TO. The fact that you and a few others have appointed yourselves the authenticity police ...

Ya know, I try real hard to make my stuff right. Look nice, work, be historical. I gotta admit when I see a captain morgan pirate or a poet shirt wearing kilted mcninja running around I die a little inside. But the last thing to do is be an asshole to someone on the internet over a horsetail. Jehan ...

I learned a long time ago that the things like walls, lines, relics what have you are all just details that get swept away in the carnage that follows the sound of the cannon. That was my first battle back after geting my BP under control and I swear it was blissful. I was chatting with Sarnac befor...

It's the automatic assumption that something isnt perfectly accurate, and perfectly appropriate because it doesnt conform to someone's perceived tastes that annoys me. And when someone who is otherwise capable of eloquence coming off like such a tool is out of line as well. Why is it that someone ma...

I'll tell someone they landed, but it didnt cut. That lets them know I'm not ignoring them, but there is a reason I didnt accept the shot. My feeling is, I'm not here to take slop. I dont expect my opponent to either. Like I tell the guys I train: Just because you touch someone doesnt mean you cut s...

Re: Huh?
I dont get why you have such a problem with it, but you do. Get over it. Simply because those quotes are excellent examples of bad (or at least meaningless) fighting instruction. Those quotes convey no information of instructional value. Yet you indict others for being poor instructors. (I agree th...

Re: Huh?
The simple truth is most of the people I've ever seen in my life teaching rattan fighting shouldn't even BE fighting, much less teaching it. This from the guy who said "Details suck. Man up and hit him."? Also " Focusing the spirit should be first. Details can come later." Though I do agree that mo...
