That's a nice kit! Use this kit with one of Sir Gaston's Corazinna kits and you'd have one spiff kit! I SOOOOOO wish I could afford this. Looking for any music equipment?? :D I'll trade you a saltshaker helmet and a Tobias bass for it!

A Question for Adam of WMA

On your Saltshaker and your Spangen with the faceplate you attach a maille 'coif' that makes the helm look like it's being worn with a coif underneath it. How did you attach the 'coif' to each helm? Do you have any detail pics of the attachment?? I just got a Saltshaker and want to attach a 'coif' l...

About a month or so ago, this lady was introduced to the Archive by another forum member (whos name escapes me at the moment, I apologize). That would be me. Glad it worked out well for you and her! Hope you enjoy the garb. I've been wearing garb crafted by her for some time now. Glad to let the re...

I just got a T tunic with gores from Dlady. It's Magnificent! She uses the period-style geometric shape pattern rather than cutting sleeves and body all at the same time from one piece. In fact I hesitate to even call it a T tunic. Very close to the pattern used on the Bocksten Man Tunic. She does S...

Attention all you Big Boys

A very good friend of mine who is an exellent seamstress has seen that there seems to be a vacuum when it comes to garb for big fellas and has started making garb to fill that niche. Her work is outstanding, and her prices are very reasonable. If any of you are interested in sending a commission her...

An effigy question

Do the animals at the feet of the individuals effigized on medieval effigies have any signifigance?? Do they have some kind of symbolic meaning?? I was perusing the Gothic Eye site in the Knights section the other day and got to wondering about that. They are mostly lions, but also a goodly proporti...

This next is just for fun, and not for sale. I used to be into painting 54mm white metal figures. This is a vignette of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Quillions and Pommel sets are cast aluminum. These two have seen some use but they have a lot of use left. The Quillions are built with a tongue that you can put a hose clamp around and cinch down and the quillions WILL NOT spin on the blade. If you cut an inset in the wood the shape of the tongue ....

I just dug up some more stuff. I KNOW somebody will be interested in these. I have TWO Anshelm Quillions and Pommel sets. I don't think he's making these anymore, and they were in demand for a while there. I'll take a couple of pics and post them later. I'm still thinkning about the price.
