Whee! Thanks, Koredono-sensei. Can't wait. I sent my stuff into, and have had correspondence with, the Yamamoto(?). I should be all squared away. http://www.mcmaster.com/ has what you want. Type in ABS plastic sheet in their search bar and you will be there. Hey Nissan, did I do something completely wrong? The search didn't work for me, so I dug through and got to a 24" x 48" sheet of black 1/4" ABS ( http://www.mcmaster.com/itm/find.ASP?tab...

I don't know of any source for 1/2" ABS, but www.gepolymershapes.com/ has 1/4" for ~$60, and they will both cut it into smaller pieces (I get mine cut into 2' x 4' sheets, but you seem to want 1' x 2' sheets, which I'm sure they'd do too) and ship to your residence or business.

This has been done by both Sir Hrothgar of Farley (probably the Ansteorran knight Alc refers to, now living in Aethelmarc, I believe) and Duke Albert von Drachenweldt (formerly of the Midrealm, now living in the Outlands). Learning to use your off-hand well is one of the more difficult things in becoming a good two-sword fighter; we have someone here who is (relatively) a natural with two-sword, but she still doesn't throw blows with her off-hand as often, or with as much power and confidence, as with her on-hand. What I do at practice is honestly mostly determined by who's there. I tend to work one-on-one with less experienced fighters, but that's at partially because that's who's been coming to practice (with two notable exceptions). And when we're sparring, I intentionally give myself some handicap (fighti...

I believe there were only 36 combatants. The way the list was run was pretty cool as well. I will try to explain. It was double elimination. This was a great event. Kind of like being at pennsic 15 or so. The fighting was great. It is worth noting that the 'chux were the most numerous, effective and disciplined force on the field.
