Re: richard

Hey Richard, You are right on in your comments. I thought the same thing and was very interested in what Jeff H was planing in terms of the Euro style jousting. Then I got to page 6 of this thread and he and Gwen started their little bash fest. It is to bad really I just hope some good can come of ...

Just to be clear, my suggestion to ban left-handed fighters was an attempt to humorously illustrate how a well-intended SEM might act to "fix" a perceived problem (excessive instances of groin shots) through unilateral legislation. I am not actually advocating this (so long as everyone understands ...

Hmmm. Well, I hope Jeffrey H & Jeff S can work this out. A friendly competition sounded like a better idea, fun for all and a chance for a cool beer afterwards. This is one of those videos that, I am afraid to say, makes the UK re-enactment scene cast a negative view on the SCA. I say this as someone that would love to be at raglan castle as we speak, if I could afford to be there. Why? On a scene dominated by touch combat it makes the SCA look violent. Wh...

I'm going to buy all but a few of them, then mark them up substantially in a year when everybody is dying to get their hands on these and I'll make huge profits.

:)

Actually I'll just preorder one. Maybe a second as a present for my squire if I can afford it. Kind of broke right now.

I must be missing something. Logan hit both fighters with lots of blows, the opponents eventually took the ones that they felt were good and died.
