Re: Ongoing restock sale at Otto's Armoury

I have this on my list, Otto -- you do good stuff! I'm just low on funds after another purchase. (Am planning on ordering a pair of spaulders -- UNstrapped, if possible.)

Re: Brans Horns - Zubedayeh's Horn

It was a pleasure working with sabakakrazny on this project. Communication was clear and frequent, the price was more than reasonable, and his artistry is remarkable. I can't wait for it to arrive! :) (My intent for this piece is that it will be going into a gift basket at some time in the future.)

Sadly, this doesn't _actually_ work. I tried. :(

Re: metal cutwork

I think I may have gotten the wrong type of saw. :(
This one keeps _swivelling the blade around_ and doesn't keep the same orientation. It's by Exacto.

Does anyone have a recommendation for one?

Got recommended to me... it's metal with leather pads in the grips.
Good idea? Fail idea?

metal cutwork

Can anyone point me to books or class handouts on the art of metal cutwork (for jewelry)? I got to see a demo of it years back, and it's lurked in the back of my head ever since as something I *REALLY* want to learn.. I've tried to find materials that I could read and get the gist of it, but my goog...

Do you ever do 'design consultations' for those who want to make the banner themselves, or can't afford your (EXTREMELY reasonably priced) work? I have a very simple, almost boring heraldry, and while I would love to make a banner for myself, am really puzzled as to what to do with the rest of the b...

I'm hoping to include the one I ordered in a gift basket that I will be presenting at Battlemoor - which I leave for in exactly one week's time. Is there any chance that they might arrive to zip code 74107 by that time?
