16 ga is pretty light. I think the min gauge is 14 but donâ€™t quote me on that. I have held 16 ga helmets and been able to compress them with just my hands so I would not feel safe in a 16 ga helmet. Both helms are 16 ga I wouldnâ€™t want them protecting my head. However I could be completely wrong...

I picked up a spear and tip kit from Duke Andreas and had it taped up and ready in about 15 minutes. It has served me well and is probably one of the lightest spears I have ever used.

Some of it is resin I think the shoulders. I am not sure if that would stand up to SCA combat.

However I know nothing about resin.

With enough notice I would pay 2 bucks a scale for Ti. At that price tho it may be nice to have a sizing scale so the buyer would now how many to buy. It would not be cool to buy 300 and find out you only needed 200.
