I was thinking about going with those crash pads I know some guys around here who use them and love them. Those hockey shorts are also crash pads and supposed to be low profile. I like the additional hip and tailbone protection they have.

Anyone use these or stuff like this.

I am looking at picking these up http://www.mountainboardshop.com/hockeyshorts.html I would wear them under a Dalmatica. I had tried hockey shorts in the past like what hockey players use and found them to be way to bulky for my tastes. These are supposed to be low profile I was just wandering if an...

They were great and fit great they just had so much mass I could not feel any shots thru them. In one on ones this wasnt so bad but in melees guys would be ripping my arm passing thru lines...

Review Icefalcon Splinted Arms

Last weekend at Glenn Linn I picked up some of Duke Andreas new aircraft aluminum splinted arms. I had been shopping around for a bit for some new arms and was looking for light, low profile, low mass, good looking, and protective arms. I came across the arms Duke Andreas has and picked them up and ...

The only thing I see you are missing is the first layer of armor. Cup, Knee and Elbow Pads, under armor cap, under armor shirt, and underarmor shorts. The shirt and shorts not so important but that cap will keep all the sweat out of your eyes. The shorts help keep the boys in place and dry. The shir...

I have never delt with them or heard good or bad about them. I checked out the sight the guy is a member of the KSCA so I would run under the impression he is an honorable person. He is probably having life issues. I would probably at this point just ask for my money back and then talk to Ironmonger...

I can tell you from personal expereince for speed, safety, and cost iron monger is the way to go. He makes solid middle of the lane helms with life time gurantees and his turn around is usually about 10 days.

Padding Knees

I have been reading alot about padding knees. I always used knee pads.

Is it legal to just hot glue padding to the inside of a knee instead?

That would be way more comfortable than knee pads.

Sir, On your blog it says 400 to 500 to make a shirt. I have a shirt similar to this and it only took me 92. I am just curios about the different set up. Here is a pic of my shirt. Mine are actually quite thin and bend all the time I am looking at redoing the shirt in Titanium. I am the guy in red.

Yeah I agree about the dust. I actually polish outside even in cold tempatures. If it is really bad I polish at the shop off hours. The shop has a blower which sucks dust out of the room pretty good. I think I will try some of the .04s and see how they are. Any other advice feel free to toss it my w...

Titanium Plates

So I have got this kit I really like. However the coat of plates is made from really thin aluminum. It has a few problems. It bends real easy. It does not hold a shine. It gouges easy. However it has alot of positives. It is light. Easy to bend back into place. Easy to shine. It is flexible. I feel ...

Good legs for big guys. Being a big guy I can tell you legs are hard to come by that do not bind in between the thighs. I personally wear a roman dag skirt.

If you can find a way to crank out skirts from all periods I think you would find a good market for it.
