Thank you for the review. This helm was an odd helm to make SCA legal and keep it some what real looking. Here are a few pictures of the helm before it was bronze plated. I don't have any of it with the plating on it so that will be up to Edward. Sorry to hear about your computer, that really sucks....

Thanks everyone for the reviews and complements . This was a custom helm that was fun and different to build. The person had an idea and wanted something that stood out so I got as close to his idea as I could. It is for SCA use, he did not want the dreaded bar grill which I don't blame him for that...

Door hinges work great, and you can also use one for the lock on the cheeks. When you do the lock on the cheeks make sure you off set the hinge in the middle so the pin want just pop out. if so you may want to trim your body armor out at the arm pit pecks area, but you never know it my be just fine, I have been wrong before.
