I am going to try and describe what I am thinking: how about metal retainers: both side of boxes have the loop part of a "hasp" 2 per box then a metal plate that affixes over all 4 loops with retaining pins slid through the loop part... kind of like mortise and tenons... if you understand ...

A better pic of his Highness, Eorl Thorvaldr Skegglauss, from last weekend. Cheers, Leo Whats the dimensions of his shield? 20 x 36 curved with canvas front and back from windrose. I learned a valuable lesson as well. Never practice with an unpainted canvas covered shield. I had thought to practice...

Let's discuss why the king can bar you from fighting in the crown tournament because "they don't think your style of leadership isn't what the kingdom needs right now" and everyone seems to be OK with it. They can't. That's a double negative. -My topic: SCA: Recreating the middle ages in ...

Adam,

Daniel got his bascinet from steel mastery. Great helm but it was already pre-made. We got a great deal but I can't speak for their current turnaround. Quality seems to never be the problem but rather the turnaround time of custom made objects.
