Will admit, I have a bad habit of holding my breath when I fight. I am guessing cause I was a swimmer in HS, and just got in the habit of always holding my breath, and taking quick short breaths betwen whatever. Something that helped me, and I want to say I heard that Duke Fabian does this, or maybe...

WTS - Icefalcon Topfhelm - Putting on Ebay - $500 for AA
Bought this last month from Icefalcon, when he was having his sale. So got it for $695. Fits 24" head 12 gauge stainless Has not been used, has a few scuff marks from me hitting myself in head with stick to test padding. Plus there is glue residue inside from where I had glued padding. No drill...

Each person needs to find what works for them. Last 2 Crowns I have fought in, got to Semis first one, got to Finals the last one. Both I acted like a goof ball all day, and was extremely relaxed. Went in with no expectations, other than to have fun, and give my opponent the best fight I could. The ...

Shield I bought from you guys last year, has held up decently so far, no real bad bends in it, from what I can tell. With that being siad, it is a centergrip, and so, has a bit more give way, when blocking shots. Where as with heaters and strapped shields, you tend to block more forcibly with little...

Ok, actually, must of looked at something different, cause looked in google, and found some effigies right away, that they think the gauntlets might be whalebone. Still curious on what material that folks use now adays that would be closest to weight for them. Thinking leather gauntlets like Torvald...

Whalebone gauntlets
Ok, have read several references to whalebone gauntlets, starting in the 13th century, before metal gauntlets became more prevelent. Has anyone seen any drawings or examples of them, and what materials do we use now adays would they be closest to, as far as weight. I read about a drawing, that showe...

Lol, Dilan. Honestly, a lot of my feelings about madus, comes from where I grew up in the sca, which was Atlantia. I never even heard of a madu, till I moved to AEthelmearc, and then they were all over the place, due to Duke Christopher of York, who was outstanding with one, so everyone else thought...

At least for the welded.
Icefalcon - http://www.icefalcon.com/
Von Sussen - http://sussen.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/index.html
I'll let you look for prices. Way to many options and way to many prices.

Couple of different sources out there for good chain. My current set is blackened stainless rivetted shirt. ( I hate rust) That I bought off of Icefalcon Armory My old shirt, which Duke Malcolm now wears I got from Von Sussen. For welded, which is usually about twice the price of the rivetted, you c...
