Will admit, I have a bad habit of holding my breath when I fight. I am guessing cause I was a swimmer in HS, and just got in the habit of always holding my breath, and taking quick short breaths betwen whatever. Something that helped me, and I want to say I heard that Duke Fabian does this, or maybe...

WTS - Icefalcon Topfhelm - Putting on Ebay - $500 for AA

Bought this last month from Icefalcon, when he was having his sale. So got it for $695. Fits 24" head 12 gauge stainless Has not been used, has a few scuff marks from me hitting myself in head with stick to test padding. Plus there is glue residue inside from where I had glued padding. No drill...

Shield I bought from you guys last year, has held up decently so far, no real bad bends in it, from what I can tell. With that being siad, it is a centergrip, and so, has a bit more give way, when blocking shots. Where as with heaters and strapped shields, you tend to block more forcibly with little...

I feel so bad for Atlantia and Angelsey this year. :)

Folks on the same side are going to be getting in their way, and folks on the other side are all going to try and kill them.

Just so they might get a chance to get in Ursus's pics. :)

Not sure if Icefalcon still has some, but just bought a stainless rivetted blackened shirt from him, that fits 60" chests. Granted, I am not that large, but even when i am down to 230, like I was at Pennsic, I still have a barrel chest and its around 50". So even at 288 with a 53" che...

Ok, actually, must of looked at something different, cause looked in google, and found some effigies right away, that they think the gauntlets might be whalebone. Whalebone gauntlets

Ok, have read several references to whalebone gauntlets, starting in the 13th century, before metal gauntlets became more prevelent. Has anyone seen any drawings or examples of them, and what materials do we use now adays would they be closest to, as far as weight. I read about a drawing, that showe...

Lol, Dilan. Honestly, a lot of my feelings about madus, comes from where I grew up in the sca, which was Atlantia. I never even heard of a madu, till I moved to AEthelmearc, and then they were all over the place, due to Duke Christopher of York, who was outstanding with one, so everyone else thought...
