My thought on the guys reaction, is pretty much what his Grace Logan said. I think the guy got scared to hell, and just lashed out. Lol, actually I like the look without anything, so will probably wear that for a bit. But right now wish I would of kept my hair longer for extra cushioning, instead of taking clippers to my head and having my hair short now. :p

Actually using this one, and doing it with the full wrap around, as in Richard I first and second seals.

Here is a pic of the helm I am using. Pictures are from Zweihammers site, where the helm comes from, that I bought from Icefalcon.

Do those ground to Rattan, and are those ones that Whonew made? Not trying to bust a bubble, but main reason DarkHearts go for $800 is cause they ground to rattan and also are made of springsteel. CelticWarriors which were stainless or mild, were $400 or less, due to not grounding to rattan and were...

Question for those who wear chain coifs?

What if anything do you wear under them? Got my new helm, new stainless riveted coif and haubergeon from Icefalcon the last 2 days, and love them. But have never worn a coif before, just an aventail. After putting everything on, was interesting having it on my head, and well could envision taking a ...

Lol, I always send USPS priority, and have never lost anything. Cant say the same for UPS.

I trust USPS a lot more, than UPS.

Guess its own personal dealings, but I have never gotten beat up packages from USPS, like I have from UPS, and scared to open the darn thing up.

Carlyle and Olafr, do you use the gauntlets for great weapons or for single sword?

Was thinking of grabbing a pair for single sword, but last time Brand and I talked about it, he said he was working on a new design that would be better for single sword, so was waiting.

Thanks

WTS - Torvaldr Black Gauntlets - sold

Bought these off Torvaldr from a charity auction, due to someone backing out on him. But I doubt I will ever use them. I have not even set the leather straps yet, so you can adjust them to how you need. According to Torvaldr, these are his large set. I am pretty sure I won the auction for $80, will ...

Ok, was going over some books with paintings and drawings dating between 1200 and 1290, and came across one. Wish I had a scanner, but maybe a search on Google or something might show it. Late 12th/Early 13th Century Irish Knight - need help

Ok, in my post I have on first page, William Marshal Helm, the helm I posted, I am actually getting. Yeah, I am also looking at between 1185-1187, which is supposedly the time he spent with the Templars in Syria. William Marshal Helm

Okay, been browsing the web trying to find what he might of been wearing during his tourney days.

Unfort, there is nothing of his helm on his effigy, or I would just go off that.

Anyone have any idea what he might of worn around that time. Looking at I believe 1165 to 1180 time period.

Thanks
