Wont refute we lost a few by the end, not sure the exact total. Also remember though, a decent chunk of our guys was Rolling Thunder, at least a third of our army, and they left either before or after the bridges I think. So we had a large drop off from that point. But I choose to look at the bright...

Blackstone Raids

Want to say a thank you to all who showed up this weekend. Was a blast meeting some of you for the first time, and meeting others I have gotten to know over the years again. Was a good day and some fun fighting. Body still sore from being a battering ram for most of the day, but its something me and...

Lol, Falcone, I think that was the last Pointless War I went to, cant remember if the name had changed by then to Kingdom Crusades, then I moved here. Main thing I remember from that airstrip, was everyone freezing to death. Cant remember if that was before or after the Druid Grove site. My memory i...

I grew up in the SCA, in Atlantia. Where it was drilled in our heads, at least by my teachers, there was no such thing as a tourney fighter or melee fighter. You were a fighter, and if one day you were to be a knight, then by God, you better be very good at both aspects. I try and instill that in my...

Well Murdock, have never lived in either of the principle kingdoms, but the folks I know, and the folks I hang out, care who wins and loses Pennsic. I guess its just who you hang out with, on if they care or not. Granted, probably most my squires and guys in my warband, could careless, other than ju...

Yep, already responded in a pm. Sir Corby from Atlantia, was the person who got me to try them. Let me see if I can dig up the post, where I saw him talking about them. Him and a few others in Atlantia use them and love them, and I value their opinion highly enough which is why I tried them. My legs...

Baldar Shield Boss - What size hole?

Hi folks, just emailed his Grace this question, but thought I would ask here also, in case some of you might actually have one, and can let me know. Need to get to work on painting a shield for this weekend, so need to cut the hole, so I can get started. Any help would be appreciative. Will probably...

Aethelmearc has "Gold Chain" events (much the same as the ToC's) but they are few and far between. I think the big stumbling block is finding the chiv who want to come out for them. Not exactly true. Its more to the point, of chiv in whatever area, just are not taking the initiative, to m...

Not at this time, but we have had similar events in the past, but not in several years.

Kind of been paying attention to what you guys did last year, and what the Middle have done for awhile, and I think its a very good idea, and might be something we need to think about organizing.

Crowns are normally 1 month after coronations, at least around here and from what I have seen from other places.

But the actual reign should be around 6 months.

This just allows for both sets of royalty, to be able to hit more of the kingdom, if they can. At least thats how I was taught.

Which ones?

The AlpineStars are one size only, on their website, it says M/L.

StoneKeeps are his Size C cops, which here is directly from his site what he compares them to.

"C: 31cm "

Thanks
