WTS - Bohemonds Off the Rack SCA Boot

Hi folks, selling a pair of size 11 Bohemond SCA boots. Have only worn them once to an event, and then around the house to stretch them out like they need to be. They are just not doing the trick for me. Great boots, just going to go in a different direction. PM me if interested. Off the Rack, they ...

It could be a fun action movie.

Yep, for Great Sword and Polearm, I would say spear, but I rarely use that. Was taught to always learn to fight with both hands in the lead. Specially when you start out a fight, with one hand on top, in the middle of the fight, change up, and sometimes, actually seems to be a lot, , your opponent d...

Very nice work on the belt, and on all the belts I have seen you do. Have seen a few of your belts you have done over there. Always turn out nice and look right.

Curious on that price also. I see what your charging for the scales in mild and stainless, but curious on the aluminum also. I will be getting a set of scales from someone here next week. But looking at Ringlord and also your scales Tangent. So just getting idea on price and how many I need for that...

Was watching vid tape of our area practice on Tuesday, yesterday, and just kept noticing, that out of armor, and looking at folks, I dont feel that short. But once in armor and fighting, folks seem a lot taller than me. :)

Maybe you have to be a big guy who hates running at any costs, to understand it. :)

Basically for those who sent me pms, I just went first to contact me, and went down the list from there, till someone wanted them.

Thanks for the interest everyone.

All according to your pain threshhold, Olafr. Been wearing mine for about 2 months now. Will answer each one of your questions in order. 1. Currently, they were the only thing I wore, other than chain. Has been fine, just mild bruising from shots, but nothing to worry about, as long as they hit were...

Wow, a hundred years old.

I would send the guy a message, but doubt he would care.

Honestly, I would be surprised if the armor wasnt built in the 90's. Other than a little mold here and there, it looks decently cleaned up, and in decent condition.

Sent you a pm, Skorri.

I am debating on selling my stealth gauntlets that I got from Darkheart Armorys.

Needing some extra cash, and well thinking of selling these, and just going back to a basket hilt for awhile.

Just adding a pic of mine, since have had a couple pms.

As far as Scales. Ringlord, has a lot of different materials, titanium, stainless, mild, aluminum.

Have never ordered from him. But been debating on making a lorica plumata, and if I did, I would probably order from him.

Yeah, thats how we do the drill #3 also. Do between 3 to 5 fights, then discuss, then line em up again. At one point, we were adding in fight for the bail drills also, since most allied champ battles were of that type. But basically, we just did a hard and fast resurrect battle over an armor bag, an...

Will be in town on business, but will arriving around noon, so should easily be done by 5, if not sooner.

So was thinking, if there was a practice, couldnt remember when OSU held theirs, I might drop by and get some fighting in.

Thanks

We really didnt have a name for ours, but it was along the same lines as Mord's. But one thing we did was had everyone that wanted to, be a single and also a pair. If someone didnt want to be a single, that was fine, and for the newer folks, we had no problem with that. But basically, we started wit...

Like Mord said, both ways can do it and also fail at it. But you have the right of it, Tor. New fighters should never seperate. Personally, I love it when they split, cause I will more than likely leg one, and get out, before the other can get to me. When they stick together, and have a game plan an...

Where I rarely get hit? Would probably be my sword side leg, but that could be more, since I am fighting more right leg lead now a days.
