Thanks Bigjon, was hoping that was it.

Forgot to add a pick Morgan sent me of the gauntlets.

Odeana, I think what Karl is saying on his Ebay auction is, that he wouldnt fight in it, cause its is tight on him, not that it wouldnt hold up just like his large version. Thats why he says you should have about 10" of play I think in both auctions. He doesnt have that in the smaller one, cause its...

Always have them in my truck, just in case I have an uneducated marshal. Well that and honestly, there are times, I remember something that used to be, and we have the rules right there to show me I am mistaken. :)

Murdock, they might not be as work intensive as Vitus's. But if I remember right, he makes his shields to be used in the actual tourneys, more than every day practices. Granted, his new shields might be better at taking the punishment. But there very well might be a market for those who want wooden ...

Its only usually a problem for big guys who have man-boobs. Well thats really only cause I know that personnaly. :)

Skinny guys would have to weigh in for themselves.

Last time I was considered skinny, might of been when I was born. Other than that, the word chunky was commonly used. :)

Yeah, that should help, Oswyn.

One of the things I have been doing is using rubber cement on the edge, then put the edging on.

Though my next shield, I will be doing the canvas cover like Bryce was talking about.

Currently, I have just aluminum knees from Windrose, that I sewed onto my neoprene kneepads. They stay up fine. But had seen Corbys post I think a few months ago, when he mentioned those knees he has, and forgot about them, but I seriously might be going to those. I like the aluminum knees I have, b...

Torum, Graedwyn reads the boards, so hopefully he will see this himself. :) If not, next I see him, which hopefully will be soon, if I get my gauntlets in time for this weekend, will let him know also.

And i wonder how many guys, their first time to Pennsic, get suckered into wearing a blue feather. :)

But as far as how to attach it, will leave that to the experts who have done their kettles that way. I only have messed with bascinets.

Bigjon, this might be a difficult question, but maybe you can ask your knight, if you can make a squire belt that would be more commonly used for your personna. Like I said, it could be a touchy subject, some knights might get a little peeved at the question. But if you think your knight would be op...

My helm, how late can I go, and still be somewhat valid

Hi folks, my new helm is loosly based off of a late roman cav helm. Granted, this does not have a ridge, mainly due to we were taking out a sticking point on the helm, for sca fighting purposes. Currently, I am going with an early 5th century personna, but just curious, for those that might know, ho...
