Yeah have fought a couple of Crowns working that type of schedule, it definitely bites. As long as work is good, you can keep your head in the game, but if work throws you a curve, it can really screw with your head and get in the way. Good luck

I tried to get my first helm I made with Duke Bedfords help back, but I believe he uses it as his loaner helm for new squires and such. So went to Jackie to basically make one like it.

The ones I have seen in the past, that I have always liked, are ones that tend to go maybe 6 in. past the bottom of the helm when worn. It doesnt get in the way and looks nice. Granted, i came from Atlantia, so its what I normally saw there, so am biased.

Scorpus, they are padded pretty well. Just according to the normal guys you fight on if its enough. The normal guys I fight, a pair of zoombang or equivalant was enough to feel good on hits. But I also fight a couple of guys that made me rethink that notion and I started wearing plastic behind them....
