WTT - 40k Painted Necrons for Early Period helm
I know weird topic, but I was thinking of throwing these up on ebay, so I could buy a new helm, since I play Space Wolves again, but then the thought came to me, that I know some of you guys play 40k also and I might be able to cut out the middle man. My pics are at home, so will take better pics to...

Re: Some new stuff from Knotwolf
I would have guesses of what could drive you both out of it, but that would be it. It would be more of me putting myself in your shoes and guessing what would piss me off.
I'm always afraid to buy one of your helms, Knotwolf. I suck at upkeep, which is why I always buy stainless.

WTB - Used Spangen type helm
I might be in the market to get a used spangen type helm for right now. Looking for cheap to be honest, cause its just going to be a go between till I get a new one made. Havent decided if I am going to mess with it yet, but wanted to test the market while I was thinking. I love the later period stu...

Re: Windrose Shield reviews?
A lot of people use whats called car trim to go around their shields to protect the edging, instead of ugly rubber hose. Windrose actually sells it also, so you can have them put it on first then canvas it. All you would have to do after that is paint it.

Re: Windrose Shield reviews?
Have gotten all of my shields from Windrose the past 10 years I want to say. Have never had an issue and always a pleasant experience. My last 3 have had them do the cartrim then canvas over it. Saved me a lot of time.

Have a lot, but for single accomplishment would have to say, the first Mabinogy Dragon in Sacred Stone - Atlantia, was I believe 93 or 94. Basically the Dragon composed of 14 people. 3 in the front, 3 for each wing, and 3 for the tail. Plus there was two archers in the middle that could shoot you 36...

Bought this to go with my flattop helm, but well getting rid of that to, just have a friend who called first dibs on it if I ever thought about selling it. Hi folks, got these a couple of months ago, fought one time, and yeah thats one time with them, not one practice. But need some cash for some expenses and well I rarely fight off weapons anymore, so can let these go and pick up another set later. They are aluminum with stainless thumbs. New they are...

Re: Bicep Tendonitis?
Yes, It sucks. What fixed it was when they cleared out all the crap in my shoulder shaved off a bunch of bone in the socket and steaked my labrum back to the humerus. My arm was immobile for a month after the surgery. It has been almost a year now with out fighting (untill just a few weeks ago) and...

Angus, I highly recommend Shamrock. He was the one that did my modifications on my old Roman Cav helm, when no one else would touch it.

Well bought these a couple of weeks ago, have worn them twice. They actually work very well but just not liking them. Not sure if its just that I am used to actual solid or not. But just not into these. So my experiment is your gain. The shirt is XXL, I am 50" in chest and gut, and it goes on f...

Re: WANTED- Bedford basket hilt.
Right there with ya Vitus. I need to try and pick one up in the near future. We realized last night, why I am screwing my shoulder and elbow up everytime I fight. Since I switched to lighter baskets, I have stopped using my body and all I use is my arm and small circular motions for my resets, but b...

Re: #1 Technical Error in SCA Sword & Shield?
If the "normal fighter" is taking it then that IS the norm. If you have to have higher calibration to be a higher end fighter then you are outside the norm. Thor- "I get the normal fighter to take the shot, cause they take under the norm, but once I get up to the higher end, or melee...

Re: #1 Technical Error in SCA Sword & Shield?
Agree with a few here. Poor power generation, basically using all arm and no body. I'm guilty of it also, is one of the very bad habits I have picked up over the years. For the most part, I get the normal fighter to take the shot, cause they take under the norm, but once I get up to the higher end, ...

Re: Mooselodge Open Tourney at Pennsic
Very cool, the old Atlantian Speed Tourney is back. I missed it. Granted when it finally went away ahile back, we were only drawing like 20 or so fighters, which is why i think you all changed it to the Squires Tourney.
But this tourney has been missed and I will definitely be in it.

One thing I have grown to really hate. Is watching a new person coming out, specially fighter type. Re: AEthelmearc Crown List
Was a very good Crown. Fights were all best 2 out of 3, and once folks got to semi's, the loser side started with one loss already.
Semis were Duke Marcus vs Count Ingvar, and Sir Isenwulf vs THL Gabriel Hawkes.
