I've got a new linen arming shirt. It's not based on any particular period arming clothes. ( padded arms and shoulders only, body not padded.... more on that below ) The linen was prewashed and dried in the dryer to 'preshrink' it before it was sewn. interested in this also!! Pommels too.... hollow or solid? with less weight in the cross guard would you want more or less weigh in the pommel? What gauge are they? (14ga nevermind ) Have they been play tested for durability? The 'sides' of the hole would be the only place I would see a failure happ...

the photos are taken at an angle because if I go straight on the flash reflects too much. That has distorted the image a little. I've noticed that some of the less precise artistic styles of the middle ages are a little harder to get 'right'. The finer points of what makes the images look like that ...
