Life got VERY busy

I'm gonna start a new thread soon ...

I need to verify a few things and contact a few people about orders
but I'm still here.... just busy with the un-fun parts of life.

Jim, You might want to pick up one of these leather shot bags. They are only $4.00 at H.F. Fill one with sand and a second with buckshot for metal forming. m hmmmm.... something that easy I could make from scraps of leather and canvas I already have on hand..... but the time it would take..... hmmmmm

Conal's Woodworking - possible delivery at Gulf Wars?

No promises right now, but I'm thinking about Gulf Wars and if I could go.... Whether I go or not might depend on making enough deliveries at Gulf Wars to offset the costs of going. So without promising that I can right now, who would be interested in placing orders that could be delivered at gulf w...

Aside from the fact that I like 14th century armor ( so I'm admitting a bias right from the start ) EVERYTHING the SCA uses as a weapon no matter what we call it is a mass weapon. The glancing surfaces of later 14th century armor ( and later periods as well ) were made to deal with that kind of impa...

Aaroncarter review ( very satisfied! )

Aaron carter did a rebuild / re-glove / bling upgrade for me on my gauntlets. He made a new tip for the thumb that cups the tip of the thumb more. He replaced the glove with a padded glove from Revival.us He replaced the brass cuff on the gauntlets with a new one that he etched my motto into.... He ...

Any blow that you result in you not being able to stand would probably end the fight. Counted blows match my understanding of the way armored tourney combat would have occurred much more closely. Overall I prefer the idea than all SCA combat should be in the style of the medieval tourney including w...
