First two chairs (of six ) frames have been assembled.

I need to go to the hardware store for screws.

I need more pipeclamps, I have to go one at a time.....

Seats and backs for all six chairs still need to be made.

( and this works as a bump )

the sword is the single most used weapon.

to get a better looking sword you need a cross
hilted sword instead of a basket hilt

to do that you need less expensive gauntlets.
( not cheaper, because if they do not hold up to
the abuse or protect the hands they are not useful )

Any advice on how to look at armor and get more out of it
than " Gosh, that's neat!"

Will have camera, just in case.

But you did not start by cutting down the tree and working from that point..... Big pet peeve of mine. If you where a carpenter or a cabinetmaker you would probably would have gotten your wood from a sawyer not hiking out to the forest yourself.....So you'd start with a rough sawn board not a tree....

Spaudler tops are good 14th-c. projects. Spauds as independent components are 15th. But the 14th had spaudleroid articulations leathered onto the top ends of rerebraces, so for a 14th-c. project I'd say plan a rerebrace into it all. Ain't functionally but a really tall wide lame anyway. remember I'...

14th century - good first armor project and why?

I'm thinking of trying my hand at making some steel armor. I'm still kinda in the tools collection stage. I'm wondering what opinions are for a good first project. I'll probably be flying solo on this one. I have a harbor freight anvil and a forge ( and very little experience with it ) and a handful...
