First two chairs (of six ) frames have been assembled.

I need to go to the hardware store for screws.

I need more pipeclamps, I have to go one at a time.....

the sword is the single most used weapon.

to get a better looking sword you need a cross
hilted sword instead of a basket hilt

to do that you need less expensive gauntlets.
( not cheaper, because if they do not hold up to
the abuse or protect the hands they are not useful )

But you did not start by cutting down the tree and working from that point..... Big pet peeve of mine. If you where a carpenter or a cabinetmaker you would probably would have gotten your wood from a sawyer not hiking out to the forest yourself.....So you'd start with a rough sawn board not a tree....

I've got a mace I made with rubber door stops.... I used five of them with foam wrapped around the rattan under the door stops... in the Midrealm it is a 'clacker' mace with the door stops taking the place of the rattan clackers. I used contact cement to attach the canvas to the alum

didn't do a gesso layer....

But I would bet that bondo would not hold up to the abuse.
