Thought of a problem..... The bolts holding all of it together will not work and the two pipe flanges will have to be threaded together so that the impeller fan can be inside the enclosure..... So I'll use shorter screws and tap threads into the flywheel ( steel ) and impeller fan ( alum ) and just ...

Took the bike apart and cleaned up the flywheel a little. Ground off the frame tubes I didn't want/need and repainted it to help prevent rust. The hand crank blower was mostly a space saver.... I'd love to build a double lung bellows at some point
but that will require more space than I have to commit to it at the moment.
