14th century style knife: Now what?

I've got a knife to make...

I've covered step's one and two....


1. Decide you want to make a knife.
2. Get a blade blank.

now what?

Wood? Bone? Those cool little decorative tin pins in the handle?

This is my first knife and I'm not sure where to go from here....

Check the table for true end to end, and corner to corner hte long way. If it's _not_ true (one side is lower on the adjustable side) you can often shim them. a word of warning caps store a charge for a while so dont touch the contacts for a few minutes after having turned the power off lol that warning really isn't necessary for me. I knew that. I use to work at a Radio Shack. We would charge up a smaller capacitor and do the "Hey catch!" joke...

Yep, that's a starter cap alright. Specifically a 243 microfarad cap... I'll go look at Grainger and see what they have in a similar size.
